Terms of Service (For Candidates)
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the use of the AI interview service “HeyJob” (the “Service”) provided by HeyJob Co., Ltd. (“Company”).
Individuals who participate in job interviews through the Service (the “User”) must agree to these Terms before using the Service.
1. Description of the Service
- The Service is an online interview platform that uses artificial intelligence technology to support recruitment processes by recording, analyzing, and evaluating interview responses.
- Information and responses submitted by the User through the Service may be provided to the hiring company conducting the recruitment process (the “Hiring Company”).
- AI-generated analysis or evaluation is provided as reference information only. Final hiring decisions are made solely at the discretion of the Hiring Company.
2. Information Collected
When using the Service, the Company may collect the following information:
- Name, email address, and other basic personal information
- Resume or application information
- Interview responses
- Audio recordings
- Video recordings (where applicable)
- AI-generated analysis or evaluation data
- IP address, device information, and access logs
3. Purpose of Use
The Company may use collected information for the following purposes:
- Conducting recruitment screening and providing results to Hiring Companies
- Analyzing and evaluating responses using AI technologies
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the Service
- Preventing fraudulent or unauthorized use
- Complying with legal obligations
4. Provision of Information
The Company may provide User information to:
- The Hiring Company conducting the recruitment process
- Service providers or contractors necessary for operating the Service
- Authorities where disclosure is required by law
5. Data Retention
Interview data and related information may be retained for a period determined by the Company or the Hiring Company.
After the retention period, such data may be deleted or anonymized.
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Not impersonate another individual during the interview
- Not interfere with the operation of the Service
- Not use automated tools, third-party assistance, or fraudulent means to answer interview questions
7. Changes or Suspension of the Service
The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service in the following circumstances:
- System maintenance or technical issues
- Natural disasters or network disruptions
- Other circumstances deemed necessary by the Company
8. Disclaimer
- The Service does not guarantee employment opportunities.
- AI-generated evaluations are provided for reference only and do not determine hiring outcomes.
- The Company is not responsible for hiring decisions made by the Hiring Company.
9. Amendments
The Company may revise these Terms when necessary.
Revised Terms will become effective once posted on the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
